A young boy at the protests against Wisconsin’s “Budget Repair” Bill.

Ok, it’s a busy semester. Maybe I’ll do this blogging thing more regularly eventually, in the mean time I hope whoever (Hi Ethan!) might be reading this can enjoy the sporadic content I do post.

This is “It’s Okay” by Land of Talk. The video was nominated for video of the year at the Juno Awards.

Special thanks to LNScott (www.lnscott.tumblr.com) for leading me to the band. One of my new favs.

-Michael Dean!

More food for thought. Sorry I promise I’ll get some of my own stuff up soon. It’s a busy semester!

Some food for thought. Jody Williams talks about her realistic vision for peace.

Been gone… Sorry about it

If anyone reads this, congratulations, you are probably the only person reading my blog. There’s a few things, I’ll be adding soon. Maybe my blog will even be cool.

1. Connections to my online Photo gallery

2. Creative writing piece that got me into a creative writing glass I’ll be taking this semester

3. More sweet music videos.

Stick around!

“Anybody see the sky? I’m, I’m wide awake now!”

Bringing it back to my high school days (so far away) “Hump de Bump” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Check out Flea simultaneously ballin’ and shredding the bass.

“Don’t you see we have something here? Which I will call not philosophy, except in the most ancient sense of basic curiousity.”

“Medicine” by Starfucker

Have a listen to the speech at the end of the song.

“You’re excited? You should feel my nipples!” - Leslie Nielson
Rest in Peace you funny old bastard.

The traditional folk song “O’ Death,” all instrumental and vocal parts (except drums) by Lauren O’Conell, check out some of her originals…
